The Childlike She

Venus on earth is considered an epitome of love, patience, rationality, maturity, dependability, stoicism and balance. But, do we ever try to peep inside to unveil the curtain of her heart? U'll find a "Childlike She" creeps inside. Just wishing to be free to hop around and sing a song. Why do we cover ourselves grey and donot allow the little innocent creature inside us out? Don't you wish to just dress up pink, eat a chapatti more and feel the rain? Don't you want to touch the high sky like we tried to in our childhood?
Why a woman has to afflict herself with the social responsibilities that, the little damsel in her crumbles and hides. Being the brood of our lady Venus, we should learn to follow our hearts. Never feel ashamed to accept the kid in you because everyone has one.
So, next time when you feel up in years, don't stop the sweet mademoiselle inside from buying cotton candies from an open market or from laughing fearlessly. Let the "twinkle in her eyes put a halt on the wrinkles" which are to come.

"Smoking" oops "hating" is injurious to health

The recent viral pictures of the famous celebrities Ranbir and Mahira are making a steaming gossip over the coffee everywhere. The viral pictures took a wide turn when few people showed there disagreed faces against the Pakistani actress and she was slut-shamed all over for smoking in a short dress in New York. The eyes went to and fro focusing on the lady blowing smoke rather than watching the handsome man doing the same. Ah.. well yes he was noticed too when we decided to claim that being a Pakistani women Mahira shouldn't have done smoking with a Man. My question is why is a woman slut shamed in public for living freely? Smoking is definitely injurious for health but hating someone also falls in the same track. What if she was wearing a short dress and sitting in public with a man. That man is not being questioned for his drinking cigarette just because his gender owns the right to do that and we tag it as "cool statement". It is we who make our societies conservativ...

Kalbelia tribe through my lens

It was when I landed on the land of colours and traditional values, only then I could realise its beauty and Royality. The vintage heritage that can be smelled in the air. The foot prints of love left behind on the sand dunes that get distributed all over the Thar. The people who touch your heart with their warmth and you carry the memories to cherish forever. No wonder, why they add that little amount of sweetness in their foods just to give you a call of love to come back. Yes, I experienced the colours of happiness even in a desert. After witnessing the glory and Royal affair of the state .I went for camping in the Sam village in Thar desert, Rajasthan. That is when I met those beautiful tribe of vagabond girls who took a corner in my heart "the kalbelia girls". Kalbelia is a group of nomad "serpents" in Rajasthan. Their traditional occupation is to catch snakes and trading them from one place to another. They reside in small camps called deras and keep changing ...
